Rodney K. Strong
Founder, Chairman, and CEO of Griffin & Strong, P.C., Attorney Rodney K. Strong has established a reputation as a national expert in factual predicate research and Minority and Women Business Enterprise (M/WBE) Program development. As the former Director of the Office of Contract Compliance for the City of Atlanta, Attorney Strong spearheaded the public hearings and drafting of the Atlanta Equal Business Opportunity Ordinance. This program is distinguished as the national M/WBE model for goal-based equal opportunity programs around the country.
A member of the State Bar of Georgia since 1989, Attorney Strong continues to represent a range of public entities and corporate clients, specializing in public contracts, public finance, civil litigation, and real estate law. His versatility has enabled him to successfully defend both private and public sector clients and to work with all levels of government. As a former government official and frequent drafter of legislation, he is highly familiar with the lawmaking process as well as how best to represent his clients according to the law.
Attorney Strong is a native of Memphis, TN and is a graduate of the University of Memphis, Cecil C. Humphreys School of Law, where he was a Herbert Herff Presidential Law Scholar. He received his undergraduate degree in Political Science from Morehouse College.
