Cadeala Troublefield

Project Manager, Disparity Research

Cadeala Troublefield’s educational and professional background have been centered around her passions for civil and economic equality. At Spelman College, she was an active member of the school chapter NAACP, the United Negro Council for Women, served as a student ambassador, and studied abroad in Cape Town, South Africa, where she completed a social justice internship with a local nonprofit focused on social entrepreneurship. Cadeala has interned in town management in Biscoe, NC and has worked with a nonprofit in Troy, NC where she researched minority health.

Her research at Spelman College focused on the effects of underrepresentation in local municipalities on African American communities in rural areas.
